1. What is your response to “you are never more like Jesus than when you are serving”? Would you add to that? What does that look like in your life?

3. Why do you think the qualifications are high for servants in the church (deacons in our text today; see also Acts 6 where seven men were chosen to serve tables)? How is this different from other organizations?
