Personal Reflection

1. What stood out to you most this past Sunday?
2. Where have you turned for “hints” when looking for life’s Easter Eggs (hope and answers needed in this life)?

Group Discussion

3. Are you a good news or bad news first type of person? Why do you think that is?
4. How do you tend to respond to bad news? (procrastination, avoidance, resignation, other?)
5. On this Easter 2021…where does your hope lie? How is your belief about the future determining your experience of the present? (Titus 1:2; Hebrews 10:23; John 14:1-3)
6. The first disciples had doubts and hope that was dashed. What can we learn from how they dealt with those unwanted things? Consider that Jesus used the Bible then and will continue to use it now to stir up burning hearts for the truth. 

Plan of Action

7. Celebrate that God the Author is writing history. Take time to marvel at some of the scores of Biblical prophecies that have and continue to be fulfilled. Write out ways this helps you not only hold on in life but thrive in this life. 
8. Ask God (in childlike ways) to daily live and experience the hope that Easter provides. Ask for opportunities to excitedly share this life with others you know.
