Personal Reflection 

1. What do you need right now to live life well? Is anything stopping you from the life you want to live?

Group Discussion

2. In a few words, describe “the Gospel” (or faith) that has been passed down from Paul’s ancestors, Timothy’s family and now to us. Why is it so important to get clear on terms?
3. Look back and discuss where you have learned the faith from. Did your family help or hurt your trust in Jesus?
4. Look ahead and name who it is that you must pass the faith on to. How are you joyfully leaning on God to accomplish this?
5. Why is “urgent endurance” needed as a Christian? What examples do you see of this in the Bible? In your life now?
6. Are you using the spiritual gift of God in a spirit of power, love and self-control?

7. Carve out specific time to remember this week. Thank God for those who have given the faith to you. Consider their life and message and how they have impacted you.
8. Look ahead to this summer. How might you use this season to fan into flame the spiritual gift God has given to you. Take action on what you find.
