1. How does Demas serve as a warning to us? How can we live in response to this example?
2. What hope does Mark give those who have failed before?
3. At the end of his life, Paul is concerned with the entire Mediterranean. How can we value and invest in the larger work of the gospel in our community, country, and world? What practical first steps can we take in uniting with others?  What might God do through us partnering like Paul?
4. Faced with suffering and death, Paul takes great comfort in God’s sovereign rule. How can we be encouraged by God’s sovereign rule over our lives? How can our church be encouraged?
5. Where are we tempted to pursue our own glory, rather than Gods? When do we need to repent? How can we encourage one another to seek God’s glory above our own?
