How to share your testimony:

1. Have a heart to heart conversation (vss. 1-2).

2. Describe your life before Christ (vss. 3-5).

3. Share your personal encounter with Christ (vss. 6-10).

4. Tell the wonders/miracles you experienced in that encounter (vss. 11-15).

5. Explain why you made the decision to follow Jesus (vs. 16).

6. Describe how your life changed after you made that decision (vss. 17-21).

Questions for the Community

Personal Reflection  

1. Get out your journal and write out your testimony. Use the 6 points from the message as a guide.
2. Reflect on how God has been good to you (be specific). Spend some time in prayer and give thanks to God.

Group Discussion

3. Have a couple of people share their testimony.
4. Paul wanted to share the good news to the Jews but God’s plan was different and He sent him to the gentiles. Share time when you thought your life would be one way but God had other plans.
5. If Jesus was sitting with you right now and sharing His testimony, what would he say?
6. Read Acts 23:11 out loud.  What does Jesus think when you share your testimony? What does this mean for future opportunities?

7. Time to Activate! Pray and be vigilant. Look for opportunities to share your testimony this week. When you do, share it on slack with your church family!
