Personal Reflection  

1. What is your outlook on the current state of the Church? When you dream of how she CAN be…what comes to mind?

2. When have YOU been your best as a part of the Church? If it is now…stop and celebrate! If it was in another season, what changed?

3. Look back over Acts 21 and review what was drawn out from the sermon…what is God showing you?

4. What does the word “share” mean at NBC? How does this fit in to being a maturing disciple of Jesus? 

5. Review the specific ways hospitality and sacrificial care are being given in this part of Paul’s journey. Have you experienced this? Are you contributing in similar ways?

6. The only way to really consider other people as more important than yourself is to be possessed by the Holy Spirit. Take stock of the pull you sense toward helping others. Ask God to fan this into flame OR keep it white hot if it’s already going.

7. The steps to the church being her very best are simple and accessible to every Christian. Dream together of ways you can move our church along to renewal in close relationships and mission.

8. The fact that there is a lot of movement and activity in Acts is instructive. God is alive, on the move and opposed! How will you put what God is showing you into action? Remember the conversation! Ask, check back in, keep in step with the Spirit.
