1. The Bible helps us think new thoughts in line with who God is. Read Philippians 3:17-21 out loud. What big ideas jump out to you? Does this align with your natural way of thinking?
2. Identify the 2 ways (or paths) that people are walking here. Do you see examples of both of these lifestyles today? Explain.
3. Think through each word of the title this week. How does that illuminate what the text is talking about? How does it relate to your own experience?

Devoted to one another

4. Review the two reasons we have for joy (IE “Sing for joy because.”). How do appetites and bodies serve to remind us of eternal truths? 
5. Paul is saying in 3:12 and 3:17…it matters who you journey with! How are mentors helping you right now? Who are you helping right now?

Devoted to praying

6. Review the power mentioned in vs. 21. In prayer, rely on that power to save….not just those who are enemies of the cross but Christians from their own wanderings and temptations.
7. Long for new life in those who are dead all around you. Like Paul…pray with tears for those who need Jesus. Commit your life to being part of that answer to prayer.
