How quickly do you heed a warning? It depends on whether you believe the threat is viable and imminent. History is one of those warnings that sounds the call but often goes ignored. Judges offers a gloomy look at human failure and what it looks like when the ways of man replace the ways of God. The people of that society did what was right in their own eyes, leading to some very dark places.
