Where are you heading? It’s a question that stirs excitement and anticipation but also dread and pressure. Whether it’s picking a major in school, a career path or a cause, it seems there is great expectation that we have a well defined answer to this query. Local Churches experience this same tension.

Sundays in June and July will be a time to both hear from leadership and participate as we seek God in understanding where NBC is heading. Several circles of church leadership have been actively listening to and seeking our visionary (Jesus Christ) on these matters for some time. We’re excited to share what God has been revealing and call on the church to come together to listen well and live this great mission to reach our neighborhood and the world.

• I’m NEW – is it OK for me to come? YES, we welcome you to see how our church family works. If you aren’t yet a Christian  you will gain clarity on what the Bible calls all Christians to and how we are walking in that.
• I ATTEND REGULARLY – what will be expected of me? Come ready to participate (as always) but with the added feature of a set aside prayer time each week. We will seek God together and wait for his help and direction.
• I’m a MEMBER of NBC – how can I help? Our church family is only as strong and effective as our members. Make a commitment to this being the summer of “I will”. Come expectant and ready yourself in advance to obey right away, all the way and without any complaint.
• I’m GONE several weeks this summer, how can I stay connected? We podcast all our Sunday teaching times and post any notes we’ve given out. Be diligent to keep up with the series even if you aren’t with us in person. Many of our Community Groups break for summer – don’t let that stop you from connecting with others in the church to pray and discuss further.
