We would love to meet you wherever you are on your spiritual journey. The best thing we can offer you is a clear, real picture of who Jesus is and why we follow Him. Each one of us has our own spiritual journey we are continuing on. At NBC, we like to say, “Come as you are, but don’t stay that way!”
WE LIVE IN COMMUNITY.
This life was never meant to be lived alone. We need others. And so we live together. We share our joys and our struggles alike. We care for each other. We pray for each other. We celebrate with each other. We want to welcome you in to our community.
WE SHARE.
What we have is not ours. We are merely caretakers of all we have. So we use what we have for the good of others. This includes our finances, our possessions, our talents, and our time. We want to share with you and want to help you share with others.
Why NBC?
We are glad you're on our website asking this question. Frankly, there are lots of great churches out there. However, even though people have lots of churches to choose from, it takes them a while to land on one they love. Let us help make the process a little easier by telling you what sets us apart.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word, and so we preach from it every week. It guides and directs our decisions. From time to time, we will focus on a specific topic in a sermon series, but our bread and butter is going through books of the Bible verse by verse.
There’s a few things we do here. And we strive to do them well. We hold services each weekend, where we open up the Bible and preach from it. We have different community groups throughout the week, where people get together, review the most recent sermon, and share life with each other. We find different ways to share the gifts and talents God has given us with others. And outside of some other events from time to time, that’s pretty much it.
We do this so you can pour into the lives of your family, your friends, and your neighbors. We want you to be able to say “yes” to those around you, so we’ve said “no” to lots of things.
God created every person with different gifts and abilities. With this in mind, we will come alongside you and help you find your best fit for serving the body. Though we keep things simple, there are lots of elements that go into the few things we do. So there is a place for you to share your gifts.
God has brought a lot of young families here to NBC. The large amount of kids can sometimes create a bunch of noise. But we’re ok with that! We bring the kids in to the main service once a month so families can worship together. We start every service with elementary students in church with their parents. We work with and equip parents to expand at home what is taught in class.
But a large part of how we value your family is by what we don’t include. We don’t have a lot going on during the week. This is so you can have that much more time with your family.
God’s love for us takes many forms, but this one has taken hold here in a special way. Caring for orphans isn’t just a concern of God but a priority, so we’ve made it one as well. We care for many kids around the world and in our own county in a significant, sacrificial way. From adoption, to foster care, to sponsorship, to hosting training events for those loving unclaimed kids, to events that serve foster children and workers in the system, NBC is a place where vulnerable kids are becoming beloved sons and daughters.
At NBC, we have multiple services, two languages, but we are one church. Our community of Spanish-speakers have services every weekend, community groups, and ways to serve… all in Spanish! And a few times a year, we have bilingual services and events so we can sing, preach, share, laugh, celebrate, and worship together!

ADORAMOS
Nos encantaría conocerte donde sea que estés en tu viaje espiritual. Lo mejor que podemos ofrecerle es una imagen clara y real de quién es Jesús y por qué lo seguimos. Cada uno de nosotros tiene nuestro propio viaje espiritual en el que continuamos. En NBC, nos gusta decir: “¡Ven como eres, pero no te quedes así!”
VIVIMOS EN COMUNIDAD.
Esta vida nunca fue pensada para ser vivida sola. Necesitamos otros Y así vivimos juntos. Compartimos nuestras alegrías y nuestras luchas por igual. Nos cuidamos el uno al otro. Rezamos el uno por el otro. Celebramos el uno con el otro. Queremos darle la bienvenida a nuestra comunidad.
COMPARTIMOS.
Lo que tenemos no es nuestro. Somos simplemente cuidadores de todo lo que tenemos. Entonces usamos lo que tenemos para el bien de los demás. Esto incluye nuestras finanzas, nuestras posesiones, nuestros talentos y nuestro tiempo. Queremos compartir con usted y queremos ayudarlo a compartir con otros.
Por Qué NBC?
Nos alegra que esté en nuestro sitio web haciendo esta pregunta. Francamente, hay muchas grandes iglesias por ahí. Sin embargo, a pesar de que las personas tienen muchas iglesias para elegir, les lleva un tiempo aterrizar en una que aman. Permítanos ayudarlo a hacer el proceso un poco más fácil diciéndole lo que nos distingue.
Creemos que la Biblia es la Palabra de Dios, y por eso predicamos de ella todas las semanas. Guía y dirige nuestras decisiones. De vez en cuando, nos enfocaremos en un tema específico en una serie de sermones, pero nuestro pan de cada día pasa por los libros de la Biblia verso por verso.
Hay algunas cosas que hacemos aquí. Y nos esforzamos por hacerlos bien. Realizamos servicios cada fin de semana, donde abrimos la Biblia y predicamos de ella. Tenemos diferentes grupos comunitarios a lo largo de la semana, donde las personas se reúnen, revisan el sermón más reciente y comparten la vida entre ellos. Encontramos diferentes maneras de compartir los dones y talentos que Dios nos ha dado con otros. Y fuera de algunos otros eventos de vez en cuando, eso es todo.
Hacemos esto para que pueda verter en la vida de su familia, sus amigos y sus vecinos. Queremos que pueda decir “sí” a quienes lo rodean, por lo que hemos dicho “no” a muchas cosas.
Dios creó a cada persona con diferentes dones y habilidades. Con esto en mente, iremos junto a usted y lo ayudaremos a encontrar su mejor opción para servir al cuerpo. Aunque mantenemos las cosas simples, hay muchos elementos que intervienen en las pocas cosas que hacemos. Así que hay un lugar para que compartas tus regalos.
Dios ha traído a muchas familias jóvenes aquí a NBC. La gran cantidad de niños a veces puede crear un montón de ruido. ¡Pero estamos de acuerdo con eso! Traemos a los niños al servicio principal una vez al mes para que las familias puedan adorar juntos. Comenzamos cada servicio con estudiantes de primaria en la iglesia con sus padres. Trabajamos y equipamos a los padres para expandir en casa lo que se enseña en clase.
Pero una gran parte de cómo valoramos a su familia es por lo que no incluimos. No tenemos mucho que hacer durante la semana. Esto es para que pueda pasar mucho más tiempo con su familia.
El amor de Dios por nosotros toma muchas formas, pero esta se ha arraigado aquí de una manera especial. Cuidar a los huérfanos no es solo una preocupación de Dios sino una prioridad, por lo que también lo hemos hecho uno. Cuidamos a muchos niños en todo el mundo y en nuestro propio condado de manera significativa y sacrificada. Desde la adopción hasta el cuidado de crianza, el patrocinio, la organización de eventos de capacitación para aquellos niños amorosos no reclamados, hasta los eventos que sirven a niños de crianza y trabajadores en el sistema, NBC es un lugar donde los niños vulnerables se están convirtiendo en hijos e hijas queridos.
En NBC, tenemos múltiples servicios, dos idiomas, pero somos una iglesia. Nuestra comunidad de hispanohablantes tiene servicios todos los fines de semana, grupos comunitarios y formas de servir … ¡todo en español! ¡Y algunas veces al año, tenemos servicios y eventos bilingües para que podamos cantar, predicar, compartir, reír, celebrar y adorar juntos!
