1. Have you had any hard “coming & going” in churches? What was hard about them? (confusing, hurtful, moved cities, etc…)
2. Review the difference between “coming & going” and “sent & received”. Have you seen both?
3. How specifically are Timothy & Epaphroditus examples of what Paul has been writing about? Who is an example to you?

4. The Holy Spirit is evident in the leaders and congregation of this church. What stands out to you most? 
5. As we imitate and honor people like Timothy and Epaphroditus in our own lives, what might that look like?
6. How can mentors (parents, youth leaders, teachers, coaches) be proactive in raising up “send worthy young people”? How can you cooperate to becoming send worthy (no matter your age)?

Devoted to praying

8. Pray for sensitivity to the movement of the Holy Spirit in your own coming and going in the church. Not just when you arrive or leave but during your time together. 
9. Pray for leaders and servants as they make decisions to go or stay, send and receive. These are weighty and require much wisdom as they affect so many people. Pray for other churches you know that are going through transitions.
