1. Read our passage from Sunday and compare it to Romans 8:14-17. What does it teach about all Christians? What are the implications of this?
2. What defines a “true” child of God verses how the phrase “child of God” is used in everyday use?
3. Ponder the doctrine of adoption. What did our Father do to secure our adoption?  How does that impact Christians?

Devoted to one another

4. God gave you a family to live in. If you are one of his children, look to Him for how you can appreciate all that this means. Ask him how to see your spiritual siblings and how you can serve them.
5. God tells us who we are in Christ. Review these and for each one, ponder how this affects your relationship to others. Those in Jesus, those not yet in Jesus, and those who live as enemies of Jesus.

6. Look back over the 6 identities covered in this series. Invite Jesus to expose the lies you operate by and replace them with the light of truth.  
7. Celebrate all that is yours in your new identity in Christ. Review these often and train your brain to live, move, and speak out of this reality.
