Personal Reflection

1. Invite the Spirit’s reminding and insight as you consider your own history with Christian community. Are their hang ups and disappointments that you have yet to get over? Do you long for a past group of people or ideal group of people that keep you from reality? Ask that God heal and instruct you in this.

Group Discussion

2. What did the early church devote themselves to? Are you devoted to the same things? Discuss any confusion you have over what that looks like.
3. How do these 4 priorities play out in our church? How can you encourage and contribute in each?
4. Do you think outsiders would be attracted to NBC? Why or why not? What is the biggest obstacle to new converts enjoying the good life we share in Christ?
5. What fruit of the Spirit have you witnessed in and through your local church?

Plan of Action

6. For the next week, DAILY sit with who you ARE (a created child of God saved by grace, etc) AND sit with who you are WITH (picture the people God has in your life to celebrate them, pray for them, discover ways to serve them, etc). See if this exercise helps keep you growing in community with God and with others.
